TCS Paralegal was founded by Ian Lagden, a retired police officer with twenty years of law enforcement experience. As a uniformed constable, Ian investigated hundreds of accidents – from fender benders to fatalities. During his 18-year career as a traffic specialist paralegal, Ian developed a solid understanding of the Highway Traffic Act and the Provincial Offences Act as well as an insider’s perspective on evidence collection and courtroom procedures. He is a member and of the Paralegal Society of Ontario, a recognized authority on paralegal regulations and a frequent media speaker.

Bruce Parsons is the company’s small claims court specialist paralegal. He holds a college diploma in Advanced Paralegal Studies and has a decade of professional paralegal experience with expertise in enforcing court judgments. He is an active member of the Paralegal Society of Ontario and served as that organization’s president from 2005 to 2006. Bruce is also a member of the Humber College Advisory Group for the Court and Tribunal Agent program and a frequent speaker at paralegal conferences. In 2007, Bruce was invited to present a seminar on the Ontario small claims court process to the Law Society of Upper Canada.
